Welcome to Pro Prac
Pro Prac is a podcast created in 2019 out of a desire to create more dialogue around professional practice, and how artists cope with the pressures of sustaining an arts practice long term. We focus on finances, collaboration, relationships, mental and physical health, and studio management, in an interview style format with special guests working from many different areas mainly across the visual arts. We strive to represent the diversity of different disciplines and people in the arts community. Pro Prac has been invited to host the panel discussion On Being an Artist – Putting Yourself Out There at ACCA, and present workshops on podcasting and professional practice at RMIT University and VCASS (Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School).
Who Are We?
Pro Prac is co created and hosted by Australian artists Nick Breedon and Kiera Brew Kurec, who produce, record and release Pro Prac.
